STATEMENT FROM MARK BURNETT

“I recently discovered that there was an issue with how some information was relayed to contestants during the pre-production of ‘Our Little Genius.’ As a result, I am not comfortable delivering the episodes without re-shooting them. I believe my series must always be beyond reproach, so I have requested that FOX not air these episodes.”

STATEMENT FROM FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY

“Mark Burnett is one of the pre-eminent producers of unscripted programming on television. Even though we were incredibly pleased with the quality of ‘Our Little Genius,’ we respect and appreciate his due diligence and the decision to pull these episodes. We agree there can be no question about the integrity of our shows. While these episodes will not air, the families who participated in the show will receive their winnings, and we are grateful for their participation.”

“AMERICA’S MOST WANTED” REACHES MILESTONE 1000TH EPISODE SATURDAY, MARCH 6, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca.,  January 11th, 2010.               After nearly 22 years of tracking down the nation’s most notorious criminals, AMERICA’S MOST WANTED will celebrate its milestone 1000th episode with a special broadcast Saturday, March 6 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

“Since the very first broadcast of AMERICA’S MOST WANTED, we’ve been telling people that they can make a difference just by making a simple phone call,” said AMW host/executive producer John Walsh. “Reaching 1000 episodes, capturing 1100 fugitives and recovering more than 40 missing children are incredible milestones for me and the show, and I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished.”

On January 3, AMW was credited with its 1099th capture when a Florida motel owner recognized fugitive Paul Merhige from an episode of AMERICA’S MOST WANTED and contacted authorities. Merhige stands accused of murdering four family members, including a 6-year-old girl, on Thanksgiving Day.

Among its many accomplishments, AMERICA’S MOST WANTED has helped capture 1100 criminals, including 17 on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. The series has also reunited 43 missing children with their families, which is Walsh’s proudest achievement.

Hosted by John Walsh, AMERICA’S MOST WANTED is one of network television’s longest-running series and continues to be the No. 1 show on Saturday nights. Lauded by law enforcement organizations nationwide and internationally, AMW has changed the lives of thousands of crime victims and has put hundreds of perpetrators behind bars. The award-winning series is a powerful voice for crime victims everywhere and has no plans to slow down. As long as there are criminals on the streets, AMW will be there to hunt them down.

“BONES” CELEBRATES MILESTONE 100TH EPISODE THURSDAY, APRIL 8, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca.,  January 11th, 2010.               Over the course of five seasons, the partnership between DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) and FBI SPECIAL AGENT SEELEY BOOTH (David Boreanaz) has evolved from strictly professional into an unlikely and perhaps romantic pairing. The formidable duo’s dynamic and unusual history is examined in the milestone 100th episode of BONES airing Thursday, April 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

“The Parts in the Sum of the Whole,” directed by Boreanaz, recounts the first time Brennan and Booth worked together on a case. This look back at their beginnings has a profound effect on them and may change their feelings for each other forever. The episode also provides a glimpse at the other Jeffersonian team members to see how their relationships began and the influence they have had on each other’s lives.

“I’m so proud to stand by each and every cast and crew member on this momentous achievement of our 100th episode,” said Boreanaz. “All the blood, sweat and tears has brought us to this moment. With each step we became a family, and with each step further I take on directing this episode as a friend. To 100! Salute!”

“All of us at BONES are keenly aware of how rare and exciting it is for a television drama to make it to the 100th episode mark,” said BONES executive producer Hart Hanson. “For this to happen, a lot of elements have to come together in an organic way – the most important being cast and audience. BONES is fortunate to have the best of both.”

Throughout BONES’ 100 episodes, Brennan and Booth’s “will they or won’t they?” connection has excited a loyal fan base and has generated much discussion as to what direction their relationship should take. In addition, the Jeffersonian team has explored and uncovered incredibly bizarre causes of death in their investigations, and the series has served up some of the most gruesome cases ever on television.

ABC ANNOUNCES EARLY PICK-UPS OF HIT WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMEDIES
"COUGAR TOWN," "THE MIDDLE" AND "MODERN FAMILY" FOR THE 2010-11 SEASON

New York, N.Y., January 12th, 2010.
Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment Group, announced early pick-ups of hit Wednesday night comedies "Cougar Town," "The Middle" and "Modern Family" for the 2010-2011 Season today at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.

"Cougar Town" (Wednesdays from 9:30-10:00 p.m., ET)

Courteney Cox, who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for her role on the show, stars as Jules, a newly divorced single mother exploring the honest truths about dating and aging in our beauty and youth obsessed culture. While most women in their twenties go through life experiencing the challenges and often humorous pitfalls of meeting men, Jules took on the responsibilities of marriage and raising a son. Now in her forties, she embarks on a journey to self-discovery.

"Cougar Town" stars Courteney Cox as Jules, Christa Miller as Ellie, Busy Philipps as Laurie, Dan Byrd as Travis, Josh Hopkins as Grayson, Ian Gomez as Andy and Brian Van Holt as Bobby.

"The Middle" (Wednesdays from 8:30-9:00 p.m., ET)

Emmy-winner Patricia Heaton stars in this warm and witty single-camera comedy about raising a family and lowering your expectations.

Frankie Heck is a superhero. Well, no, not an actual superhero - not unless you count getting her kids out the door for school every morning as a superfeat. Middle-aged, middle class and living in the middle of the country, this harried wife and working mother of three uses her wry wit and sense of humor to try to get her family through each day intact. Frankie has a job selling cars at the town's only surviving car dealer, while her husband, Mike, is a manager at the local quarry. In between juggling shifts and picking up fast food dinners eaten in front of the TV, Frankie and Mike raise their kids with love and solid Midwestern practicality.

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob.

Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline are the creators and executive producers of "The Middle," which is a production of Warner Bros. Television.

"Modern Family" (Wednesdays from 9:00-9:30 p.m., ET)

Today's American families come in all shapes and sizes. The cookie cutter mold of man + wife + 2.5 kids is a thing of the past, as it becomes quickly apparent in the bird's eye view of ABC's half-hour comedy, "Modern Family," which takes an honest and often hilarious look at the composition and complexity of family life today.

In its first season, "Modern Family" has already been honored with some of the industry's most prestigious award nominations. Thus far the show has been nominated for a Golden Globe, Writers Guild, Directors Guild and Art Directors Guild awards, and the cast has received a SAG nomination for their performance. The series was also recognized by the AFI as one of the top 10 TV programs of 2010.

"Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill as Jay, Julie Bowen as Claire, Ty Burrell as Phil, Sof’a Vergara as Gloria, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley, Nolan Gould as Luke, Ariel Winter as Alex and Rico Rodriguez as Manny.

“FAMILY GUY” REACHES MILESTONE 150TH EPISODE SUNDAY, MAY 2, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca., January 11th, 2010.               Over the past 10 years, FAMILY GUY has entertained audiences with outrageous antics, irreverent humor, dazzling musical numbers and side-splitting cutaway gags. Since its debut in 1999, the series has spawned a legion of die-hard fans. Now, as FAMILY GUY gets ready to celebrate its 150th episode Sunday, May 2 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX, it solidifies its place in American pop culture.

“150 episodes? And to think people said we wouldn’t make it past Season Two,” said Brian Griffin. “Technically, they were right. Good foresight on their part.”

“150 episodes, and yet I haven’t aged,” said Stewie Griffin. “Is there something wrong with me? Oh, no!  Do I have that Emmanuel Lewis thing?”

In the 150th episode, “Brian and Stewie,” the series honors two of its breakout characters, BRIAN (voiced by MacFarlane) and STEWIE (voiced by MacFarlane). When the pair get locked in a bank vault, they are forced to deal with each other on a whole new level. Unlike any other FAMILY GUY episode, the acts will play out in real time as Brian and Stewie react to being locked in a small space with no baby food or martinis to keep them from losing their minds while they hatch an escape plan.

Nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2009, FAMILY GUY is the second animated series in television history to be honored with such a distinction. With more than 18 million combined DVD units sold, it is the largest-selling TV series ever.

“CODE 58 (working title)” PREMIERES MONDAY, JUNE 7, WITH SPECIAL PREVIEWS WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, AND WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca., January 10th, 2010.               CODE 58 (working title), the new action-comedy from Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”), will have special previews on two nights, Wednesday, May 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, May 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), before making its series premiere Monday, June 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

“I’m incredibly excited to be doing the show at FOX,” said Nix. “It’s a network that’s known for pushing limits, and that’s what we’re doing here. They’ve really embraced the quirkier, more unconventional aspects of the show, and even encouraged me to go further with them.”

CODE 58 (working title) is a comedic look at what happens when an old-school cop and a modern-day detective try to expose the big picture of small crime. DAN STARK (Bradley Whitford, “The West Wing”) was once a big-shot Dallas detective. Thirty years later, Dan Stark is a washed-up detective who spends most of his time drunk or re-hashing his glory days. Dan’s new partner, JACK BAILEY (Colin Hanks, “Mad Men,” “Numb3rs”), is an ambitious, by-the-book and overall promising detective, but is sometimes a bit too snarky for his own good. His habit of undermining himself has earned him a dead-end position in the department. Jack may not see it, but he has little chance of getting out of his situation; his knack for making enemies at the station has assured he is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Jack’s only ally is ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY LIZ TOWNSEND (Jenny Wade, “Reaper”), a quick-witted former girlfriend whom Jack hasn’t quite gotten over and the one person he turns to for help with his current professional predicament. Not helping matters any is Jack and Dan’s boss, LIEUTENANT ANA RUIZ (Diana Maria Riva, “Side Order of Life,” “Castle”), who has committed herself to seeing that Jack and Dan spend the remainder of their days in the Property Crimes Division, assigned to investigate seemingly minor crimes in order to keep them – and the department – out of major trouble.

Los Angels, Ca., January 11th, 2010.               FOX has ordered a second season of the genre-defying comedy GLEE, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. GLEE has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon boasting winning ratings, critical acclaim, a rabid fan base of “GLEEks,” two certified Gold albums and more than 4 million song downloads. The series has received four Golden Globe nominations, including one for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy; a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; two Directors Guild of America Award nominations; and a Writers Guild of America nomination for Best Comedy Series and Best New Series. Additionally, the American Film Institute named GLEE one of the Top 10 TV Programs of the Year, and the series also recently won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy.

“We’ve loved GLEE ever since it was a pilot script, so it’s been an incredible thrill to watch the show take root and see audiences embrace these characters in such a huge way this season,” said Reilly. “The show is a true and rare gem in television. We couldn’t be more proud of what Ryan Murphy and the GLEE team have created so far, and can’t wait to see what they come up with for Season Two.”

GLEE has also launched the acting and singing careers of its young, talented cast, and turned them into international sensations. Replicating and expanding on the process used to discover the stars from Season One, the series’ executive producers will begin a nationwide casting search this February to fill three new roles that will be added to the show’s second season.

Building upon the show’s incredibly supportive community of GLEEks and with the hope of bringing fans even closer to the series, auditions will be open to amateur individuals as well as professionals between the ages of 16-26, and all hopefuls will be able to submit auditions online. Additional details to be announced soon, please check www.fox.com/glee for updates.

This unique casting search and process will be chronicled in a multi-part special that will air leading up to the premiere of the series’ second season in fall 2010 on FOX, and the new cast members will be revealed in the premiere episode.

“GLEE has always been about finding new fresh exciting voices. Our second season search for young talent will be in the vein of our first season. We launched a nationwide search for talent for our first season with great unexpected results, and Season Two expands that search in an even bigger way,” said executive producer and creator Ryan Murphy. He added, “Anybody and everybody now has a chance to be on a show about talented underdogs. No matter who you are – a Broadway talent or a struggling singing waiter with a dream in the Midwest – you now have an opportunity to make that dream come true by posting your talent video and showing us what you can do. ALL the roles will be chosen from the video audition process, which is exciting and unprecedented. We want to be the first interactive musical comedy on television, and the search is ON.”

“GLEE is the hottest new show of the season, and it’s amazing to look back at the audition tapes of those stars as they were being discovered,” said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment for FOX. “Just like GLEE, there’s never really been an unscripted program like this on television before. The stakes are real, and it’s going to be incredibly compelling to watch the lives of these unknowns transformed before our eyes.”

GLEE returns with all-new episodes on a new night beginning Tuesday, April 13 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

GLEE follows an optimistic teacher who – against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach – inspires McKinley High’s Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time. GLEE stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.

CBS ANNOUNCES THE 20 FORMER CASTAWAYS WHO WILL RETURN TO SEEK REVENGE AND REDEMPTION ON "SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS"

New York, N.Y.,  January 7th, 2010.               Twenty former castaways will return to compete on SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS when the 20th installment of the Emmy Award-winning series premieres with a special two-hour episode, Thursday, Feb. 11 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS will reunite some of the most memorable, heroic and controversial castaways from previous SURVIVOR seasons.  The series' best strategists will face off in their attempt to overcome — or embrace — the label placed upon them when they return to seek revenge or redemption, all in an effort to win the title of Sole Survivor.

These unforgettable castaways will compete deep in the South Pacific on the breathtaking island of Samoa and will be divided into two tribes of 10 comprised of the best HEROES and biggest VILLAINS ever to play the game.  The HEROES have been defined by their decisions of integrity, courage and honor, while the VILLAINS have mastered their skills of deception, manipulation and duplicity.

The series will follow the relationships and conflicts that develop among the two divergent groups.  Ultimately some castaways will be forced to choose between pre-existing relationships or tribe loyalty in the spirit of competition.  What happens on a tribe full of HEROES?  Will the VILLAINS self-destruct or will they be able to co-exist?

JAMIE OLIVER KICKSTARTS A REVOLUTION IN AMERICA - IN OUR HOME KITCHENS, SCHOOLS AND WORKPLACES

New York, N.Y., January 12th, 2010.               Jamie Oliver is here to start a revolution.  The impassioned chef, TV personality and best-selling author is determined to take on the high statistics of obesity, heart disease and diabetes in this country, where our nation's children are the first generation not expected to live as long as their parents.  Oliver is inviting viewers to take a stand and change the way America eats, in our home kitchens, schools and workplaces, with the thought-provoking new series, "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution," debuting FRIDAY, MARCH 26 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The series is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Fresh One Productions.

In the series, Oliver heads to Huntington, West Virginia - which has been called the unhealthiest city in America -- to start his new cooking initiative. He hopes to help get Huntington off that list and start a chain reaction of positive change across the country. Oliver says, "The time is right for people to rediscover the sense of pride, satisfaction and fun you can get from cooking for the people you love. There's an incredible community in Huntington, and I want this experience to be a celebration of what we can achieve when people come together. I want to prove that turning around the epidemic of obesity and bad health doesn't have to be boring or dull in the slightest. Wonderful stories will unfold in Huntington, and hopefully this will inspire the rest of the States."

Needled by local naysayers, challenged by ingrained unhealthy habits and government bureaucracy, and welcomed by some of the most surprising youngsters, families and local leaders, Oliver shows how, in just a few short months, he tried to transform Huntington as a template for the entire country. The stakes? Simply the health of our country's citizens and the legacy for its children.

The series is loosely based on Jamie Oliver's U.K. series, "Jamie's Ministry of Food" and "Jamie's School Dinners," which saw his successful grass-roots efforts improve the school lunches in communities there. For the latter show, it resulted in a total overhaul of the school dinner program in the U.K. In America, he's turning his attention to helping people of all ages eat more balanced meals and cook with fresh ingredients, not only at schools, but also homes, workplaces and even restaurants.

Oliver's recent television credits include "Oprah's Big Give" for ABC. He is the author of nine popular cookbooks, including The Naked Chef, Cook with Jamie and Jamie at Home. Hyperion published his latest cookbook, Jamie's Food Revolution: Rediscover How to Cook Simple, Delicious, Affordable Meals, in October 2009.

NBC EMPOWERS COMMUNITIES TO TAKE CHARGE AND TRANSFORM THEIR BROKEN SCHOOLS IN NEW TWO-HOUR SPECIAL 'SCHOOL PRIDE'

Universal City, Ca., January 10th, 2010.               NBC will empower communities to renovate their aging and broken public schools - while inspiring students, parents, and teachers to rediscover a sense of pride that will positively impact their lives and futures - in the proactive alternative project "School Pride," a new two-hour special for fall 2010.

The announcement was made by Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

"This is a wonderful and uplifting project that will completely revitalize a school and community, while leaving a lasting legacy," said Telegdy. "These are powerful stories about the differences that can be made when committed people unite to improve their school and restore students' hope and faith in their education process."

"The success of a school transformation doesn't just help one family or one group of students. It helps multiple families, and helps them for generations to come," said Cramsey. The transformation will help teachers achieve greater success in the classrooms, raise property values, and give the community a reason to be proud of their schools again. This special will be proof of what a small group of Americans can accomplish when they work together."

"School Pride," from executive producers Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") and Denise Cramsey ("Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and "True Beauty"), produced by Horizon Alternative Television, is based on a similar effort that inspired students, teachers and a community to roll up their sleeves and renovate their deteriorating school at Carver Elementary in Compton, California.

The resulting transformation and restored sense of school pride motivated the Carver elementary students, and achievement test scores there increased the year following the renovation.

In "School Pride," cameras will follow students, teachers and parents as they motivate their community to renovate the school. Making use of local businesses and skilled local labor, the community will make over classrooms, public spaces, art and music halls, and athletic facilities. The work will include everything from re-painting and re-carpeting to improving the utilities, and updating the technology systems of the school.

A team of experts will lend their expertise in the makeover process but it's up to the students, teachers, and community to execute the restoration. As the story of their progress unfolds, multiple surprises will be revealed to them, ultimately concluding with the unveiling of a brand new, completely transformed school. Months later, cameras will revisit the school to discover the lasting effects of the transformation - a renewed sense of school pride and an increase in student achievement scores. The experience at Carver Elementary proved those results.

"School Pride" is from Horizon Alternative Television.

NBC'S 'THE MARRIAGE REF' WILL BE SNEAK-PREVIEWED ON FEBRUARY 28 FOLLOWING CLOSING CEREMONY OF WINTER OLYMPICS

Universal City, Ca., January 10th, 2010.               "The Marriage Ref," NBC's new comedy panel series about the unpredictable and hilarious institution commonly known as marriage, will air a special sneak preview on Sunday, February 28 (10:30-11 p.m. ET) following NBC's coverage of the Closing Ceremony of the Winter Olympics.

Additionally, comedian/actor Tom Papa has been personally selected by executive producer Jerry Seinfeld to host and serve as the "marriage ref."

The show will then premiere in its regular slot on Sundays (8-9 p.m. ET) beginning March 14.

The announcements were made today by Jeff Gaspin, Chairman, NBC Universal Television Entertainment.

"Utilizing the Winter Olympics as a platform for introducing this show provides an extraordinary opportunity," said Gaspin. "We've wanted to be in business with Tom Papa for some time and we think this is the perfect vehicle to bring him on board."

Added Seinfeld: "Tom brings so much to the table that he is just the perfect fit to be the "marriage ref." In fact, having toured with him for over eight years, he was really the only person I considered when I was formulating the show. My feeling is that when you take a subject matter as rich and universal as marital disputes, and throw Tom Papa into the mix, the end result is bound to be refreshing and hilarious. Viewers are going to love him."

A seasoned comedian, Papa has starred in two standup specials on Comedy Central, with his next one to be directed by Steven Soderbergh. A familiar face to late-night television audiences, he has amassed more than 10 appearances on the NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and was a frequent guest on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Late Show with David Letterman."

As an actor, Papa starred opposite Matt Damon in the Soderbergh film "The Informant," and opposite Paul Giamatti in the animated feature, "The Haunted World of El Super Beasto," as the voice of the title character. He had a voiceover role on the DreamWorks animated feature "Bee Movie" and also served as a writer on the project. Among his other big-screen credits are the films "Analyze That" opposite Robert DeNiro, and "Comedian."

On television Papa also had a recurring role on "The New Adventures of Old Christine." Papa opened his one-man show "Only Human" to rave reviews at the prestigious 'Just for Laughs Festival' in Montreal, and he continues to tour with Seinfeld.

In "The Marriage Ref," married life takes center stage as disputes between real-life couples are revealed, examined -- and ultimately judged on who is right and who is wrong. For the first time, these couples will get something they've always wanted and never had, an undisputed winner ending their ongoing rift once and for all. These marital tiffs will run the gamut of disagreements -- quirky, funny, revealing, relatable, classic -- all in the signature Seinfeld tone.

"My goal is to bring the simplicity of sports and apply it to the overly complicated situations that we all face in marriage. A call is made, a decision is rendered, everyone moves on," said Seinfeld. "This is not a therapy show; it is a comedy show and after 10 years of marriage, I have discovered the comedic potential of this subject is quite rich."

Papa will be at the center of the action and ultimately will make "the call." He alone will have the final say in determining the victor of each spat. He will decide right in the spot, who is right and who is wrong - just like a referee. Advising and influencing Papa's decision will be a rotating panel of "experts" comprised of opinionated top celebrities, comedians and sports stars who will weigh in and offer their own wit, wisdom and unique opinions.

QUOTABLES FROM "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE'S WEEKEND UPDATE WITH SETH MEYERS" JANUARY 9, 2010

"WEEKEND UPDATE" ANCHOR SETH MEYERS - "President Obama on Tuesday called a meeting of all 16 counterterrorism agencies to try to correct the intelligence failures surrounding the Christmas Day bombing attempt. Unfortunately, six of the agencies were late, three didn't get the email and the CIA locked their keys in their car.

MEYERS - "Umar Farouk Abdulmautallab, the Nigerian man who ignited his underpants in a failed attempt to blow up a jet landing in Detroit, plead not guilty to six federal charges, Friday. While his testicles plead guilty in abstentia."

MEYERS - "During an interview on Good Morning America this week, Rudy Giuliani said, "We had no domestic attacks under Bush, we've had one under Obama." You know Rudy, I knew one day that we would reach a point where people would forget about 9/11, but I never thought you would be the first."

MEYERS - "It was reported Thursday that in the wake of poor ratings for the Jay Leno Show, NBC will move his show back to the 11:35 time slot, and then start Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show at midnight. Though it's a little weird to start the Tonight Show at a time when it's no longer tonight."

MEYERS - "It was announced that New York City beat out Orlando, Florida last year as the country's top tourist destination. Thanks to the popular new ride 'Pirates of the F Train.'"

MEYERS - "The movie Avatar is being harshly criticized by anti-smoking groups for having Sigourney Weaver's character smoke on screen. Though if you walk out of Avatar and that's the part you remember, you were probably born to smoke."

MEYERS - "Tsutomu Yamaguchi, the only person officially recognized as a survivor of both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, died this week at the age of 93.
- Yamaguchi is best known for coining the phrase, 'Oh no, not again.'"

MEYERS - "The California Medical Board is accusing the fertility doctor who treated Octomom Nadya Suleman of negligence and violating professional guidelines. Who would have thought you could get in trouble just for trying to see how many babies you could stuff inside a crazy lady?"

MEYERS - "A new report shows that black people no longer are the majority population in New York's Harlem neighborhood, with many white people now moving into the area. As evidenced by the new starting lineup for the Globetrotters."

MEYERS - "It was announced this week that Lady Gaga will be the new spokesperson for Polaroid. It's a natural fit, as just like a Polaroid, it takes a few minutes to figure out what you're looking at."

MEYERS - "Police in Ohio are searching for two teenage girls who robbed a bank this week. Police say the girls got away with, like, a jillion dollars. Seriously, like a jillion."

QUOTABLES FROM "LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON" January 4 - January 8

"Did you guys read about this? A couple in Nebraska was arrested for having 7 pounds of gift-wrapped marijuana. Cops became suspicious after Santa ate milk and cookies for 14 hours straight."

"Has everybody here seen Avatar? It's a great movie. Even President Obama took his family to see it at a private screening in Hawaii. After the movie, Obama was like "so THAT'S what it's like when something lives up to its hype."

"I don't know what to make of this. A company in Spain is making bed sheets infused with Viagra that can be absorbed into the skin. It seems practical, but good luck getting a woman to sleep with the weirdo who brings over his own sheets."

"Yeah, they're pretty cool sheets. Every time you use them, they turn into a tent."

"The Viagra infused sheets also make great Halloween costumes if you want to go as Casper the REALLY friendly ghost."

"Hey, congratulations to Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, who welcomed a baby girl yesterday. Matthew said both baby and mother are doing "all right, all right, all right."

"This is just wrong. In Georgia, a couple was arrested after they gave six of their children homemade tattoos. Apparently the tattoos were of the Chinese symbol for "Social Services."

"A new study shows that more and more children are reaching the age of three before they learn how to talk. Even weirder, their first words are usually "dude, just text me."

"This is just insane. A woman in Ohio was arrested after she punched out the drive-through window at a McDonald's when she couldn't order chicken McNuggets. Now she's facing 4, 6, or 10 years in jail, plus a choice of dipping sauce."

"Did you hear this? Rush Limbaugh was released from a hospital in Hawaii - two days after suffering from chest pains. He's fine. Doctors say they don't know what caused it, but it may have something to do with being an overweight man whose job is being enraged."

"A man from right here in New York won the ESPN Zone's 2010 Ultimate Couch Potato Competition, after watching televised sports for 48 hours, 15 minutes and 1 second. Coming in second place with 48 hours and 10 minutes was every other man in America."

"This is incredible. Dubai opened the world's tallest skyscraper today - at 2,640 feet tall. When asked how many elevators it has, the guy who built it was like "Ahhhh crap. Elevators!"

"And finally, a man in Italy said he stole candy from a store last week so he could spend New Year's Eve in jail instead of with his wife and her family. The judge called it a shameful, embarrassing, actually pretty brilliant plan."

"President Obama spent the day talking to officials about airline security. One thing they're doing is adding dozens of names to the "no-fly list." Um, hello? Have you tried flying out of Newark? WE'RE ALL ON THE NO-FLY LIST!!!"

"Did you guys hear about this? The Secret Service just discovered that a THIRD uninvited guest got into Obama's state dinner back in November. Although Joe Biden INSISTS he was actually invited."

"This is kinda interesting. I was reading today that President Obama has started updating the Oval Office to reflect his personality. Which basically just means he took down President Bushes' autographed cast photo from the "Dukes of Hazzard."

"Tomorrow at the White House, President Obama is going to recognize a group of teachers for their award-winning work in teaching math and science. Obama said he's looking forward to it, because he always likes meeting people from China."

"Listen to this. A new survey in Britain found that children today are having trouble learning how to talk because they watch too much TV. I don't know if that's true. All I know is that my one-year-old nephew now refers to his abs as "The Situation."

"Wow, today was a cold one, wasn't it? Many states are facing subzero temperatures this week. Everyone's taking precautions. In fact, airports are on the lookout for THERMAL underwear bombers."

"Hey, listen to this everybody. David Brandon, the CEO of Domino's Pizza, was just named the Athletic Director at the University of Michigan. Because who better to head up a department focused on fitness than the man who gave us the Oreo Pizza and Cinna Stix."

"This is weird - a man in Iowa spelled out a birthday message to his wife using manure on their farm. The REALLY weird part: they don't own any animals."

"A New York City councilman has proposed a bill that would legalize beekeeping in the city. What I want to know is, what City Councilman goes home, makes a list of all the problems that need fixing in New York, and comes to work with "Must legalize beekeeping in Midtown."

"This is just insane. Researchers in Japan have discovered that shock waves can be used to help men with erectile dysfunction. The new treatment is for all those men who could take Viagra, but would rather have shock waves fired at their weenus."

"Hey, I read this today. A new poll found that one in five men wish their girlfriend would wear less makeup. The other four were not standing next to their girlfriends."

"Did you hear this? Mayor Michael Bloomberg said yesterday that New York City was the Number One tourist destination in the U.S. last year - with 45 million visitors. You think that number's high now, wait til they hear that we're about to get MORE BEES."

"This is pretty cool, in Taiwan, marine biologists have discovered a crab they say looks just like a strawberry. And by marine biologists, I mean two guys on mushrooms."

"Finally, I heard that a deleted sex scene from Avatar will be included on the DVD. I heard that in the scene one alien gives another a "blue" job."

"President Obama discussed terrorism with his security team for over two hours yesterday in The Situation Room. Joe Biden was like, "I don't want to meet in The Situation's room. How 'bout Snookie's room or J-Woww's room."

"This is a big story. The religious right is upset over transgender cabinet appointee Amanda Simpson, saying Obama picked her as part of the transsexual agenda. Though I'm pretty sure "get cabinet appointments" is the second goal on the transsexual agenda, right after "swap out genitalia."

"I read about this new study that found that dolphins are almost as smart as humans. Not all humans, of course, just the ones who work in airport security."

"Speaking of airport security, CBS is reporting that the high tech security cameras at Newark Airport weren't even working on Sunday when security was breached. Even worse, they've been keeping keys to all the planes under those fake rocks you get in SkyMall."

"Well, it's the end of an era. Legendary pitcher Randy Johnson is retiring from Major League Baseball after 22 seasons. Fans of Randy Johnson are upset by the announcement and wish he'd take a little more time to mullet over."

"Big movie news - yesterday the script to the third Twilight installment, "Eclipse", leaked online. The movie studio is really upset. And they got even more upset when they found out the entire plot was also leaked in a book, called Twilight: Eclipse, which came out two years ago."

"This is really cool. The first "senior-friendly" LCD television will be unveiled this week - featuring a remote control with only six buttons. The buttons are labeled "Turn on, damnit!" "Shut that off!" "What's that now?" "Turn that racket down!" and two buttons for "Who watches this crap?"

"This is disgusting - the FDA just found an infestation of cockroaches at a facility that makes airplane food. In fairness, the cockroaches WANTED to leave, it's just that all of their flights were delayed or canceled."

"This is pretty cool. Yesterday scientists at NASA released the earliest photo of the universe - which shows "more than 12 billion years of cosmic history." You can tell it's really old because it's one of those old-timey black and white photos where none of the planets are smiling."

"Listen to this. A judge in Colorado is gonna allow a banjo player to tour with his band even though he was arrested for assaulting someone with his banjo on New Year's Eve. Of course, assaulting someone with a banjo just means playing the banjo."

"The owner of a wrinkly dog in Australia has given his pet a full face-lift and a double eye-lift so it won't go blind. Unfortunately, after getting all that plastic surgery, the dog left its owner to live with a younger, hotter family."

"And finally, a little boy from China had to go to the doctor when he shoved a chopstick so far up his nose, that it got stuck. Today, the boy was said to be in good condition, and is already back at work."

"A man in Washington, D.C. was apprehended by Secret Service yesterday for taking off his clothes and jogging naked near the White House. In related news, I'd say that's probably that last time Biden ever takes Ambien."

"That's crazy right? A guy was running naked past the White House. It's freezing cold weather. The Secret Service was alerted when someone reported a man with a suspiciously shrinking package."

"Hey, you know that couple that crashed a White House state dinner back in November? Well they're hosting a party at a Nightclub in Vegas next weekend. Yeah, but to get in you have to be NOT on the list."

"Listen to this. In England, new stamps are coming out featuring famous album covers from Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and Pink Floyd. It's really cool. Except that once you lick the stamp, you trip for like nine hours."

"You guys following all this crazy airport stuff? Well, the White House released the report today showing how that underwear bomb attack on Christmas Day could have been prevented. Apparently, instead of bomb-sniffing dogs, they should've just used a regular old crotch-sniffing dog."

"Did you hear about this? A mother in Houston was arrested for meeting a teenager on "World of Warcraft," flying to meet him in Canada, and luring him to have sex. By the way, a woman "luring a teenage boy into having sex" looks something like this: "Hey you."

"I read that a 92-year-old man was cited for reckless driving yesterday after he crashed his car into a restaurant, then sat down and ate breakfast. The amazing part? When he was done, he STILL couldn't remember where he parked. "I was sure I parked next to the salad bar."

"Remember the Balloon Boy? Well, his dad, Richard Heene, is now saying that his balloon stunt was not a hoax after all. Man, now I don't know what to believe. Richard Heene? Or the truth?"

"A woman here in New York is suing her gym after she got hurt taking a pole-dancing class. Yeah, the instructor was like, "Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Chrystal,Chrystal making her way to the ambulance. Isn't she looking fine? Stretcher coming through."

"And finally, researchers have created a synthetic alcohol substitute that gets you wasted without a hangover. The name of the product is "weed."

"Is anyone here flying this weekend? There are so many delays at the airport, my flight was bumped from 12:35am to 1:05am."

"Let's get to the news. While speaking about the war on terror yesterday, President Obama said, "There is, of course, no foolproof solution. We have to stay one step ahead of a nimble adversary." Sounds like somebody saw Sherlock Holmes over the holiday."

"President Obama also said, "We are at war against al-Qaida, and we will do whatever it takes to defeat them." Then Obama was like, "Literally WHATEVER it takes - speeches, talks, speech talks, talks about speeches, speaking about the talk I just spoke about."

"In Obama's defense, he is taking responsibility for the security lapse on Christmas. Obama said, "Ultimately the buck stops with me." Then he was like, "Unless it's a billion bucks, in which case it just goes to AIG."

"Did you hear this? President Obama met with former President Bill Clinton at the White House yesterday - in a meeting closed to the press. It was pretty awkward - Hillary called and at the exact same time, they both said, "I'm not here."

"You guys excited about the final season of "Lost?" Well, fans are worried that the show's 3-hour season premiere on February 2nd could be bumped if President Obama gives his State of the Union address that night. Which is ironic, because "Lost" is also the name of the speech he plans on giving."

"This is just weird. French designers have introduced a new lingerie made of milk proteins, called "Milkshake." Yeah, it's the first bra that's guaranteed to bring all the boys to the yard."

"Listen to this. A hotel chain has decided to build a Gay Hotel, a special hotel for gay people right here in New York City. The gay hotel is supposed to be an impressive building, but you can only enter through the back door."

"Hey, listen to this, the Mexican government says that Starbucks is using a pre-Aztec logo without permission. In fairness, Mexico is using the United States without permission."

"And finally, "American Idol" premieres on Tuesday in Boston! The most popular audition songs are "Pahty in the USA," "Pokah Face," and anything by Justin Beebah!"
