100. A SEMIPERFECT NUMBER. A SEMIPERFECT MAN. “HOUSE” CELEBRATES MILESTONE 100TH EPISODE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, ON FOX

Los Angeles, Ca., January 13th, 2009.          The prognosis is excellent for the brilliant, anti-social anti-hero Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) and his colleagues at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital as HOUSE celebrates a milestone 100th episode Monday, Feb. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In the 100th episode, “The Greater Good,” House and the team take on the case of a woman who collapsed in the middle of a cooking class. When they learn that the patient gave up her career as a highly renowned cancer researcher in order to pursue her own personal happiness, the members of the team question their own happiness (or lack thereof). Meanwhile, Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) begins to suffer serious and life-threatening reactions to her experimental Huntington’s Disease clinical drug trial, and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) retaliates against House and gives him a taste of his own medicine.

Over the course of five seasons, House has proven no bar is too low and has shocked those around him with the lengths he will go in order to prove he’s right – from faking brain cancer to score drugs (“Half Wit”) to pulling a hair out of his father’s corpse to test the DNA (“Birthmarks”) to kidnapping his favorite soap star because he’s convinced the actor has an illness he doesn’t yet realize (“Living the Dream”).

Many notable guest stars have appeared on the show over the last 100 episodes including Academy Award winners Mira Sorvino and Joel Grey; Emmy Award winners Sela Ward, Cynthia Nixon, John Larroquette, Željko Ivanek and Charles S. Dutton; recording artists/actors Dave Matthews, LL Cool J, Brandy and Fred Durst; as well as David Morse, who received an Emmy Award nomination for his role on HOUSE. Other notable appearances include Ron Livingston, Anne Dudek, Carmen Electra, Julie Warner, Greg Grunberg, Chi McBride, Samantha Mathis, Lori Petty, Michael Michele, Jason Lewis, Kurtwood Smith, PRISON BREAK star Dominic Purcell and John Cho, who stars with HOUSE series regular Kal Penn in the “Harold and Kumar” films.

Winner of three Emmy Awards, including an award for creator and executive producer David Shore (Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series), HOUSE has been honored with 17 Emmy Award nominations, including three for Outstanding Drama Series and three for Hugh Laurie (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series). The series received the 2006 Humanitas Prize for the episode “Three Stories” and received two Golden Globe Awards for Laurie (Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series) and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Laurie (Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series) as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series), two Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Television Series, Drama, two consecutive People’s Choice Awards for Favorite TV Drama, a People’s Choice Award for Hugh Laurie (Favorite Male TV Star) and an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.

“PRISON BREAK” PLANS ITS GREATEST ESCAPE YET AS SERIES COMES TO A CLOSE THIS SPRING  Final Episodes Begin Friday, April 17, on FOX

Los Angeles, Ca., January 13th, 2009.          The greatest escape on television comes to an end after four suspenseful seasons when PRISON BREAK returns for the series’ final episodes beginning Friday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

PRISON BREAK premiered in August 2005. The show was an immediate hit and followed Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) as he engineered a daring escape from Fox River Penitentiary to free his wrongly convicted brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) from Death Row. With the prison break a success, the brothers, along with six additional escapees, were part of a nationwide manhunt headed by FBI Agent Alex Mahone (William Fichtner), who later was revealed to be working for The Company, a shadowy government organization that had initially framed Lincoln.

The action then moved to Panama where the tables were turned and Lincoln worked to free Michael from the hellish prison SONA. After eventually escaping from Central America, the brothers teamed with Homeland Security Agent Don Self (Michael Rapaport) to dismantle The Company once and for all by stealing SCYLLA, a device that contained the organization’s most valuable secrets. Following a series of double-crosses, the brothers now find themselves racing to retrieve SCYLLA, which unbeknownst to them has landed in the possession of their estranged mother and Company operative Christina (Kathleen Quinlan).

PRISON BREAK stars Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Michael Rapaport, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Sarah Wayne Callies and William Fichtner. Academy Award nominee Kathleen Quinlan guest-stars in the series’ final episodes.

NBC ANNOUNCES THE 16 ALL-STAR CELEBRITIES READY TO TAKE ON DONALD TRUMP IN THE BOARDROOM WHEN 'THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE' PREMIERES SUNDAY, MARCH 1 (9 P.M. ET)

New York, N.Y., January 8th, 2009.           NBC and Donald Trump announced today the all-star celebrity cast for the second sensational season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" premiering on Sunday, March 1 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT).

On the first ever "Celebrity Apprentice" last season, winner Piers Morgan changed the way the game was played, winning millions for charity and setting the bar for all who follow. Now 16 new celebrities will rise to the challenge and once again it will be men versus women. The men include: Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Tom Green, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Brian McKnight, Dennis Rodman, and Herschel Walker. The women include: Annie Duke, Natalie Gulbis, Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, Brande Roderick and Tionne Watkins. All the celebrities will be vying for the coveted title as they fight for their respective causes.

"Last season's 'Celebrity Apprentice' became one of the hottest shows on television -- and this season will be even better," said Trump. "We have an amazing cast of celebrities and we are looking forward to some fantastic entertainment."

The 16 celebrities will compete in business-driven tasks around New York City using their fame, rolodexes and their business acumen to win weekly tasks, while ultimately battling with each other to stay out of the boardroom and avoid hearing those dreaded words "You're Fired!" They'll be subjected to long hours, grueling mental challenges, personality clashes and intense scrutiny -- all without the help of their regular support system of agents, managers and personal assistants.

This season the competition is more cut throat than ever with a group of celebrities that will fight, tooth and nail, to win. Such intensity will result in flare-ups that, Piers Morgan says, "make his legendary fights with Omarosa look like a tea party."

Ultimately they will face the judgment of Donald Trump and his advisors in the boardroom, which will include his children (and colleagues), Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. Also appearing in the boardroom alongside Trump will be his longtime associate and trusted colleague, George Ross.

The boardroom will feature a "rotating seat," allowing a variety of famous business leaders and industry legends to join Trump in spirited judgment of the tasks. As with last season, winning celebrity teams will relish the opportunity to watch the losing team squirm in the boardroom from the comfort of their own war rooms.

When all is said and done, 15 celebrities will be famously fired and only one will emerge to become The Celebrity Apprentice.

"The Celebrity Apprentice" is produced by Mark Burnett Productions in association with Trump Productions LLC. Mark Burnett, Donald Trump, Page Feldman and Eden Gaha are Executive Producers.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATES:
Each celebrity contestant was handpicked for his/her balance of notoriety and business skills.

He is a profound, not to mention prolific, songwriter. To date, he has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs, a benchmark in any artist's career. An astounding one third of the songs eligible for single release achieved hit song status at Country Radio. He has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. But despite all the media backlash, Clay has remained a comic icon and the self proclaimed "Undisputed Heavyweight King of Comedy." Clay's rise to fame was meteoric; he was the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row plus hundreds of other sports arenas from coast to Coast. And along the way, Clay starred in numerous feature films including "The Adventures of Ford Fairland," released best selling DVDs ("No Apologies," "Dice Rules!") and a string of multi gold and platinum selling CD's ("Day The Laughter Died," "Filth"). NBC TO SHOWCASE UPCOMING 'THE LAST TEMPLAR' MINISERIES WITH PREVIEW SPECIAL "MAKING 'THE LAST TEMPLAR'" TO RUN OVER AFFILIATE STATIONS AND NBC.COM

Universal City, Ca., January 14th, 2009.          Spotlighting NBC's upcoming four-hour miniseries "The Last Templar" (for broadcast on Sunday and Monday, January 25-26, 9-11 p.m. ET both nights), The NBC Agency has produced "Making 'The Last Templar,'" a 30-minute sneak peek of the epic adventure to be conveyed over NBC's affiliate stations beginning in January (check local listings) and available on NBC.com at http://www.nbc.com/the-last-templar/ now through February 24.

"Making 'The Last Templar'" roams around the world and behind the scenes of the international production. The special features Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, Scott Foley, Victor Garber and Omar Sharif as they share their experience of making this epic action-adventure on location in Montreal and Morocco. The show also takes a look at the amazing stunts, special effects, and exotic locations that are featured in the film -- and examines the background of the legendary and mystical medieval Templars.

In the miniseries, Oscar winner Sorvino ("Mighty Aphrodite," "Mimic") stars in an epic action-adventure tale about the greatest mystery of modern time. As the journey begins, Tess Chaykin (Sorvino), a Manhattan archaeologist, reluctantly teams up with FBI agent Sean Daley (Foley, "The Unit," "Felicity") – and the pair are drawn into a fast-paced, romantic adventure as they attempt to uncover the lost secrets of the legendary medieval Knights Templar.

The miniseries also features Garber ("Eli Stone," "Alias") as Monsignor De Angelis, a high-placed Vatican envoy. Veteran thespian Sharif ("Doctor Zhivago," "Lawrence of Arabia") rounds out the all-star cast playing the role of Konstantin, a Greek savant who rescues Tess and Agent Daley after they are shipwrecked and wash up on the beach at Symi.

"The Last Templar" opens at a premiere gala for an exhibition of Vatican treasures at the Fine Arts Museum in New York City. Shortly after arriving, Tess witnesses four masked horsemen, dressed as Templar Knights, storm into the Museum, scattering Manhattan society. Tess watches in silent terror as the leader of the horsemen hones in on one particular piece -- a strange geared device that he grabs as he disappears into Central Park.

Rewind to 1291 with the fall of the Latin Kingdom's reign in the Holy Land in Acre. As the burning city is taken by the Sultan's forces, a lone galley escapes out to sea, carrying Martin of Carmaux, a young knight from the historic order of the Knights Templar. Also on the galley are Martin's mentor, Aimard of Villiers and a mysterious chest that contains a secret Templar scroll which was entrusted to them by the Order's dying Grand Master. But the ship never reaches its destination and the secret scroll is never revealed.

Back to present day, as the horsemen's dead bodies start turning up -- and the importance of the stolen device becomes more apparent -- Tess and Agent Daley are drawn into the dark, hidden history of the crusading Knights and of the last surviving Templars' fateful journey from Acre. The pair is soon propelled into a dangerous adventure that takes them into the cemeteries and sewers of Manhattan, across continents, through desolate Turkish highlands and finally to a violent storm on the Mediterranean that shipwrecks them onto a remote Greek island -- and into the very heart of an incredible Vatican secret.

Sponsors showcase their best commercials during the Super Bowl and the big game wouldn't be quite the same without them. The 10 greatest Super Bowl commercials will vie for the number one spot. Viewers can now go to www.cbs.com/superbowl to watch them and vote for their favorite. This year, the top three picks will be revealed during the show and, in a special vote on www.cbs.com/superbowl, viewers will decide which commercial will take home the ultimate title.

Viewers will also be able to catch a sneak peak of this year's most highly-anticipated commercials before the big game as well as get a behind-the-scenes look at how their favorite spots are made.  In addition, the special will retire one of the most legendary commercials of all-time - the reigning champion, Coca-Cola's "Mean Joe Greene" spot, which has been the "Super Bowl's Greatest Commercial" winner for the past six years.

TAYLOR SWIFT WILL GUEST STAR IN AN UPCOMING EPISODE OF "CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION"

Los Angeles, Ca., January 13th, 2009.          Taylor Swift, the best-selling musical artist of 2008, will guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS Paramount Network Television and Jerry Bruckheimer Television series, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, on the CBS Television Network.

Taylor will play Haley Jones, a teenaged girl whose family runs a seedy Vegas motel.  Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences.

Nineteen-year-old Taylor Swift currently has singles climbing both the country and pop radio charts, and sold more albums in 2008 than any other recording artist, in any genre of music.  At the age of 18, Taylor released her second studio album, Fearless, which scored the biggest-selling debut week in 2008 for a female artist in any genre, and was the year's fourth biggest debut over all.  Fearless had the best-selling debut for a country title in over a year, and Taylor currently holds the Billboard all-genre record for most Top 20 debuts in a calendar year.  Fearless sold more than two million copies in its first six weeks in stores.

At 17, Taylor became the youngest person to single-handedly write and sing a number-one country single entirely on her own and she is the first female solo artist in country music history to write or co-write every song on a platinum-selling debut CD.  At 14, she signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music, and in 2006 released her self-titled debut CD on Big Machine Records.  Taylor Swift has surpassed triple-platinum (three million sales) status and spent more than 20 weeks in the #1 position atop Billboard's Country CD Sales Chart.  Taylor was named 2008's Favorite Female Country Artist at the American Music Awards, Top New Female Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music and won 2008 CMT Music Awards for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year.  In 2007, she received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and won the CMA Horizon Award.  Taylor plans to headline a tour in 2009 and has toured in the past with Rascal Flatts, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill and Brad Paisley.

QUOTABLES FROM 'SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE'S' 'WEEKEND UPDATE WITH SETH MEYERS'

"WEEKEND UPDATE" ANCHOR SETH MEYERS - "On Tuesday, Barack Obama warned that the country could face "trillion-dollar deficits for years to come." In an address many said was reminiscent of Martin Luther King's famous "I Had a Bad Dream" speech."

MEYERS - "All 5 living presidents met for an historic lunch at the White House this week. Administration officials said that the idea for the gathering came from Barack Obama, and not, as originally thought, from Agatha Christie. Afterwards, there was a fight over who would pay the lunch bill but eventually they all agreed they would leave it up to future generations."

MEYERS - "During the meeting, Bill Clinton was impressed by the light brown carpet in the Oval Office, saying, "I love this rug." Though he did say it would look better if it was just a thin strip down the middle."

MEYERS - "On Friday the Illinois House voted 114 to 1 to impeach Governor Rod Blagojevich on charges that he tried to sell Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat. The sole dissenting vote was cast by first term representative,
Schmod Schmagojevich."

MEYERS - "Last week, Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol gave birth to a boy named Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston. Apparently, they're hoping that he will grow up to be a law firm."

MEYERS - "Despite warnings from the Secret Service over security concerns, president-elect Barack Obama said this week that he is unwilling to give up his Blackberry. Sort of the same way Bush wouldn't give up his LeapFrog."

MEYERS - "The current national debt is estimated at over 10 trillion dollars, which breaks down to about 35,000 dollars for every man, woman and child in the country. If you laid that much money, end to end, in one dollar bills, most of it would be stolen by Bernie Madoff."

MEYERS - "Michael Jackson this week signed a one-year lease on a 100,000 dollar per month French Chateau-style estate in Bel-Air. Although really, the only thing "French" about the estate is that children will be served wine."

MEYERS - "Nine Broadway musicals closed this week, including Hairspray, Young Frankenstein, and Grease. The news has been especially tough on the nation's aunts."

MEYERS - "In a study published in The Journal of Experimental Biology, scientists in Australia gave liquid freebase cocaine to bees to see what would happen. And what happened was the bees slept with them."

MEYERS - "A new study shows that, in recent years, the number of home-schooled children in the US has ballooned to 1.5 million. Or, if you're home schooled, five eleventy thousand."

QUOTABLES FROM NBC'S 'LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN'

January 5 – January 8

"Earlier today, Barack Obama's daughters started at their new school in Washington, D.C.. They are smart kids. Their teachers are really impressed and say that both girls are already reading 'well above President Bush level.'"

"President Bush's father, George Bush senior, he was President too, recently said that he'd like his son Jeb to be president, but that right now is a bad time for him to run. When asked what a good time would be, Bush senior said, 'eight years ago.'"

"Obama had his first day in Washington today - President-elect Barack Obama says that he got a little chocked up as he left his house in Chicago and headed for Washington D.C.. He got emotional. It was especially painful because as soon as he left Governor Blagojevich sold Obama's house."

"The U.S. Army just said that it has managed to increase recruitment by allowing fatter people to enlist. Yes. They're allowing fatter people to enlist. In fact, several new recruits have volunteered for a daring raid on a refrigerator."

"Plastic surgeons are saying that the bad economy is causing fewer women to get breast implants. So, my fellow Americans, the time for the federal bailout is NOW."

"This weekend a riot and gang fights broke out in a prison in Idaho. Apparently the gang fights in Idaho were between the white supremacists and the really white supremacists."

"This weekend Las Vegas will be hosting the AVN awards, those are the Oscars of the Porn Industry. If you haven't seen them, they're like the real Oscars, except that when somebody's speech goes on to long, they play THIS music. (needle-drop of porn music.)"

"Yesterday, President-elect Barack Obama talked about the recession and he described the economy as "very sick." Historians say it was a childish way to describe a complex problem – but still the smartest thing they've heard a President say in 8 years."

"Because of the bad U.S. economy, many Broadway producers have started taking their musicals to China. In a related story: the entire cast of "Cats" has been eaten."

"Congress was sworn in this morning, and USA Today says that the average age of the members makes it the oldest congress ever. Which explains why today they passed three bills and four gallstones."

"A plastic surgeon here in the United States has rigged his car so that it runs on fat left over from liposuction. That's right Middle East – a car that runs on fat - NOW who has the greatest energy reserves in the world?"

"In a new interview, Rocker Tommy Lee says that the only way he'll open his dressing room door for a groupie is if they take off their shirt or pants. Which is weird, because I have the same rule for the U.P.S. guy."

"Paris Hilton's house was robbed a couple weeks ago and police say they are still looking for the robbers. Police say that Paris was bound and gagged, but that was a week before the robbery."

"Earlier today, President-elect Barack Obama had lunch at the White House with all the living U.S. Presidents and Obama called the meeting "an extraordinary gathering." In a related story, John McCain had lunch at Quiznos."

"That's true though, President Bush and President-elect Barack Obama did have an historic lunch with the 3 former Presidents. Of course, Bill Clinton was the only one who brought a date."

"On Inauguration Day, Barack Obama will be riding in a brand new presidential limousine made by General Motors. Because nothing says "hope for the future" like General Motors."

"The Washington Post reports today that Barack Obama wants to appoint CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta to be Surgeon General. Obama said the CNN doctor must be pretty good since he's kept Larry King alive all these years."

"Some political experts were surprised that Obama's pick for surgeon general is mainly known for talking about health care on television. Apparently Obama got the idea from President Bush, who once tried to appoint the cast of "Scrubs"."

"Radio Shack is now selling a GPS navigation system based on the NBC series "Knight Rider." Unfortunately, since it's based on an NBC show – the GPS only works when you're driving rapidly downhill."

"This week, Chinese officials accused Google of spreading pornography throughout China. The Chinese Officials said, the last thing we want is our billion and a half people to get ideas about sex."

"A man in a small town in Maine wants to open up a restaurant where all the waitresses will be topless. The man says he doesn't have a name for his restaurant yet – but he's leaning towards "Captain Jack's All-Night Boobs 'n Lobster.""

"In a recent interview, Paris Hilton said that she's had sex with only a couple of guys. Later Paris admitted that she meant during the interview."

"President-elect Obama gave a major economic speech today - In his speech about the economy, President-elect Barack Obama said that Americans will be able to go online and see where the bailout money is being spent. In response, Americans said, 'Thanks, but we'll stick to downloading porn.'"

"During his speech, it's interesting, on the economy, Barack Obama said, "It will be too late to change course if we don't take dramatic action as soon as possible." Then Obama said the same thing is true about NBC's primetime lineup."

"On Inauguration Day, Barack Obama will be riding in a brand new presidential limousine, did you hear about this, made by General Motors. The parade route is only 5 miles long – so GM says that Obama should only have to stop for gas twice."
