QUOTES FROM NBC NEWS' BRIAN WILLIAMS INTERVIEW WITH SEN. CLINTON

NEW YORK – May 14, 2008 – NBC News' Brian Williams talked today with Sen. Hillary Clinton in an interview that will air on this evening's "NBC Nightly News."

Below is a rush transcript of excerpts from the interview. If used, please credit "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams." A complete interview transcript will be available following tonight's broadcast.

BRIAN WILLIAMS: Senator, what is the chance that the Democrats go into their convention without a clear nominee? Are we still going to be talking about this at the convention?

HILLARY CLINTON: I think we'll have a nominee. I really believe that. But again, we'll know a lot more on June 4th. And maybe I just have more patience than the average person these days. But for me, it's a privilege and a joy to travel around our country to make my case to people from one coast to the other and to continue to, you know, work as hard as I can to win this nomination. And that's what I intend to do. And, you know, we'll get to June the 4th after the last votes are cast on June the 3rd. And I think we'll have a better idea about where we stand.

BRIAN WILLIAMS: People who haven't been along with you on the campaign trail or watched it, say, on C-SPAN, may not have a good feel for the number of times in the average day your supporters do come up to you, those who believe in you absolutely passionately and tell you to keep going, tell you not to get out. But with the math against you in all of those categories I guess a lot of people are wondering, some of them out of complete frustration, why stay in? Is it an act of God or an emergency of some sort that you're counting on?

HILLARY CLINTON: No. It's because I really believe I would be the stronger candidate. And we're near the end of what's been a long process. I don't believe in quitting. I don't believe in being pushed out. I feel I have a bond with the nearly 17 million people who have voted for me, and the million more who have expressed support for me or contributed to me or come out to see me. And I think that having a nominee is something we will get to. We're not, you know, we're not going to miss that opportunity. We will have a nominee, but only after everyone has had a chance to vote.

BRIAN WILLIAMS: Senator, you lost out on the endorsement today of NARAL, the National Abortion Rights Action League. They went with Senator Obama. It's fair to say you were almost present at the creation of NARAL. You've been extraordinarily close to that organization for so many years. That had to hurt.

HILLARY CLINTON: Well, obviously, I've-- I am disappointed because of the work that I've done for so many years. I'm proud to have the support of, you know, many other groups that-- share my-- views and my commitment to issues. But we're going forward. And we're gonna see where this process-- finally-- resolves. And -- we'll have a nominee. And then we'll all be united.

Shot on location in South Africa, Jack Bauer battles an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, the prequel will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven.

“We're excited about the prequel because it explores Jack's complex emotional state of mind and still has all the signature excitement and suspense that fans have come to expect from 24,” commented executive producer Howard Gordon. “Shooting in South Africa affirms everyone’s commitment to making this season especially memorable for our fans.”

Celebrating its 150th episode this season, the series has resumed production on “Day 7” and will unfold without interruption in its regular time period Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) beginning in January 2009.

CRYSTLE STEWART -- MISS USA 2008 -- TO VISIT SALEM AS GUEST STAR ON NBC'S DAYTIME DRAMA 'DAYS OF OUR LIVES' ON JUNE 20

BURBANK, Calif. – May 20, 2008 - Crystle Stewart, MISS USA, will guest-star on NBC's acclaimed daytime drama "Days of our Lives" on Friday, June 20, as an Alpha Chi Theta adviser to Chelsea Brady (2008 Daytime Emmy Award nominee Rachel Melvin) and Morgan Hollingsworth (Kristen Renton).

In the episode, Chelsea and Morgan are working out at the Salem Health Club when they notice Crystle Stewart, MISS USA, across the room. Morgan quickly points out to Chelsea that Crystle is one of their Alpha Chi Theta national chapter advisers and organized last year's Breast Cancer Awareness Walkathon at Salem University. Stewart, Chelsea and Morgan then enjoy a quick conversation about this year's upcoming walkathon, and Chelsea and Morgan tell Crystle they'll be rooting for her at the MISS UNIVERSE pageant on July 13 (on NBC).

Twenty-six-year-old Stewart of Texas, a University of Houston alumnus and fourth-generation educator and teacher, hit the jackpot on April 11 in Las Vegas when she won the title of MISS USA®2008. Hailing from Missouri City, the Texan's win was not merely a stroke of luck, but a testimony to dedication and years of hard work since she took home the elusive Miss Texas USA title -- on her fifth attempt. Ever dynamic, she has addressed crowds of over 1,000 people with her inspirational speech, "Waiting to Win," where she chronicled her personal achievements.

In addition to being Miss USA and a teacher, Stewart is also an entrepreneur with her own company, Inside/Out, which she uses as a platform for public-speaking appearances, character development lessons and event planning. She also serves as a board member on the Trey Rice Education Fund and Houston Community College's VAST program, which assists individuals who have learning disabilities with educational opportunities.

Throughout her reign, Stewart will be a spokesperson for the official causes of MISS USA®, which include breast and ovarian cancer education, research and legislation, a platform that is close to her heart. Stewart herself found a lump on her breast, which was eventually diagnosed as benign. Her experience is a testament to the importance of early prevention and looks forward to traveling nationwide as an advocate for organizations such as the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Gilda's Club, among others.

America Will Get to Vote For Their Favorite "Comic in the Car" On www.NBC.com

BURBANK, Calif. – May 20, 2008
– When NBC's Emmy-nominated series "Last Comic Standing" returns on Thursday, May 22 (9:30-11 p.m. ET), the lively laughfest will include a new weekly feature called "Last Comic Driving" featuring comedians performing comedy in a new Honda Pilot – the same car that will be awarded to the grand prize winner of the series. Bill Bellamy ("Def Comedy Jam," "Any Given Sunday") hosts "Last Comic Standing," which will air in its regular timeslot of Thursdays from 8:30-10 p.m. ET following the Thursday, May 22 premiere from 9:30-11:00 p.m.

For the first ten weeks of the 12-episode series, aspiring comics who aren't in the show will perform their funniest routines in the passenger seat of an all-new Honda Pilot, creating an interactive competition within the larger show. Viewers can go online at www.NBC.com/HondaSweeps and rate a new comic each week, and during week 11 will have a chance to see and rate all the comics one last time. Every time a viewer votes, he or she will be entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win their own Honda Pilot. The ultimate winner of the "Last Comic Driving" feature will be seen in the season finale of "Last Comic Standing" on August 7 and win a cash prize provided by Honda.

This season, celebrity talent scouts – all past and present comedy stars from NBC hit shows past and present – help find the funniest comics in the international search featuring top comedians from more than 20 countries. In the premiere episode, Richard Belzer ("Law and Order: SVU") and Steve Schirripa ("The Tonight Show with Jay Leno") scout for talent in NY, while Fred Willard ("The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Mad About You") and Kathy Najimy ("Veronica's Closet") audition comics in Tempe, AZ.

After the first five audition episodes, the best comics move on to the semi-finals, and then it's a comedy showdown week by week until the live finale from the Paris Las Vegas. America will decide who will be the "Last Comic Standing" and win a $250,000 grand prize including an exclusive talent deal with NBC, a brand new Honda Pilot, and a starring appearance in Jubilee! at Bally's Las Vegas.

'DATELINE NBC' BROADCAST EXCLUSIVE: THE FAMILY OF BARBARA WINN SPEAKS OUT ABOUT THEIR MOTHER'S DEATH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 27 YEARS TO NBC NEWS' MIKE TAIBBI ON FRIDAY, MAY 23

NEW YORK – May 20, 2008 – Some say the death of 35-year-old Barbara Winn in the spring of 1981 was murder, and should have been an open and shut case. There was one abused victim, one weapon and one suspect. But soon after her death, authorities ruled there was no crime, and that Winn had taken her own life. Now, 27 years later, the case is in the headlines again. Her family always believed she was murdered, and now, authorities think so too. On Friday, May 23 (9:00 p.m., ET) on "Dateline NBC," NBC News correspondent Mike Taibbi speaks with the Winn family about their long quest for justice, and takes viewers inside the re-investigation of a case that has gripped the twin cities with political undertones that reached the highest levels of the St. Paul Police Department.

For the in-depth report, Taibbi travels to St. Paul Minn., to explore the question that many have been asking for years: why has this taken so long to be solved? In candid and emotional interviews, the Winn family discusses witnessing their mother's death and their dogged fight for justice. The hour-long report also follows Sgt. Bill Snyder as he reinvestigates; searching for new clues and talks with new witnesses. Synder tells "Dateline": "These are good people. These are people who sat and were brushed aside by the system. A system that I worked for and believed in for 33 years and told, go away."

CALLING ALL 'MOMMA'S BOYS'...RYAN SEACREST AND NBC WANT YOU FOR NEW REALITY DATING SERIES

BURBANK, Calif. - May 19, 2008 Has anyone ever told you you're a momma's boy? Are you a mom who's particular about who your son dates? Who is really the most important woman in every man's life? These are the questions executive producers Ryan Seacrest ("American Idol") and Andrew Glassman ("Average Joe") will be asking in a nationwide search for the stars of NBC's upcoming dating show "Momma's Boys." Mothers, sons and brave single women who want to be a part of the "Momma's Boys" cast can log on now at http://www.nbc.com/Casting/#mb and nbcdatingshow.com for a chance to star in the upcoming series. "Momma's Boys" will also hold open casting calls in cities across America.

Interested participants can now log on to http://www.nbc.com/Casting/#mb or nbcdatingshow.com and submit their entries. The numerous cities holding open casting calls for "Momma's Boys" include Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, New York, Long Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, Rhode Island, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Phoenix, St. Louis, Kansas City, and many more in the coming weeks.

NBC's "Momma's Boys," a new reality series set to premiere after the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, is executive-produced by Seacrest and Glassman and centers on a group of mothers who must help choose the perfect woman for their complacent sons. Ultimately, the series poses the question: "Who is really the most important woman in every man's life?"

In "Momma's Boys," love is in the air but the story is told from a new television perspective -- because first, the women will have to get by mom.

Drama ensues when numerous mothers and their eligible bachelor sons are housed together with several single women. As the tension mounts, viewers will watch as possessive mothers influence their son's search for the perfect mate.

Some of the possible brides are "nice girls" -- while others might not be as presentable. As expected, rivalries are formed, drama mounts and emotion builds as crucial choices must be made.

CBS's "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" CELEBRATES A RECORD 1,000 WEEKS AS THE NUMBER ONE DAYTIME DRAMA AND 35 YEARS ON THE AIR

(May 16th, 2008.  -  Editor)          This week, CBS's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS celebrates a record 1,000 weeks as the highest rated daytime drama.  The series, which first hit Number One more than 19 years ago in December 1988, was the highest rated daytime drama in households (4.2/18) for the 1,000th week in a row for the week of February 25-29, 2008.  The program also ranks first in viewers (5.78m), W18-49 (2.0/13) and W25-54 (2.6/16) this season.

In addition, the show will celebrate 35 years on the air on March 26, 2008.  THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' 35th anniversary storyline revolves around Restless Style Magazine, a print and web-based magazine run by Nick and Phyllis Newman (Joshua Morrow and Michelle Stafford) and Jack and Sharon Abbott (Peter Bergman and Sharon Case).  In the March 26th episode, a launch party is thrown by the magazine during which surprises occur, former favorites return and old rivalries are renewed.  Fan favorite Michael Damian, who played "Danny Romalotti" from 1981-1990, 1993-1998 and 2002-2004, returns for several episodes, and actors Eileen Davidson and Lesli Kay cross over from sister show "The Bold and the Beautiful" as their characters attend the Restless Style party.

"Reaching the milestones of 1,000 weeks at Number One and 35 years on the air simultaneously is unheard of in this industry, it is a testament to the work of an extraordinary team of storytellers both in front of and behind the cameras," said Barbara Bloom, Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs, CBS.  "Our congratulations go out to the Bell Family, to Sony and to the entire cast and crew on these remarkable achievements."

"My goal is to continue the tradition started by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell 35 years ago of telling powerful, passionate and romantic stories," said Josh Griffith, Executive Producer and Head Writer of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. "I am honored to be working with such an amazing cast and crew who, every day, bring Genoa City to life for the millions of viewers who have made THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS the Number One daytime drama for the past 19 years."

"We have had the privilege of working with the most talented group of people, both on the show and at CBS, for the past 35 years.  To see everyone at THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS recognized for this incredible achievement of 1,000 weeks at number one is a testament to all of their hard work and to our fans' loyalty to this incredible show," said Steve Kent, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming, Sony Pictures Television.

Set in the Midwestern town of Genoa City, Wis., THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS originally premiered in 1973 as a half-hour drama, but was extended to an hour in 1980.  The late William J. Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell, co-created the series; he was head writer and senior executive producer.  Beginning in June, 2001, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was the first (and only to date) daytime drama to be broadcast in high-definition.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is the only daytime drama to receive 100 Daytime Emmy Awards, and has received a total of 334 nominations.  The show has been awarded the Emmy for "Outstanding Daytime Drama" seven times.  THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS remains topical and revolutionary, entertaining as well as educating its audience daily on a variety of topics, which have included alcoholism, smoking, breast cancer awareness, sexual harassment, date rape, illiteracy, HIV drug testing, domestic violence, drug addiction, Internet predators and foster care.

"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" History

(May 16th, 2008.  -  Editor)          The date is March 26, 1973.  Richard M. Nixon is two months into his second term as President of the United States.  The Number One song on the pop charts is Roberta Flack's Killing Me Softly and the novel The Odessa File by Frederick Forsyth tops The New York Times best seller list.  William J. Bell, head writer of the popular serial Days of our Lives, has just launched what is to become television's most successful and groundbreaking daytime drama ever - The Young and the Restless - on the CBS Television Network.

The continuing drama takes place in the Midwestern town of Genoa City and revolves around the loves, enmities, hopes and fears of its residents.  When The Young and the Restless premiered on March 26, 1973, it revolutionized the daytime drama genre with its emphasis on storylines geared to younger audiences, its frank sensuality, sleek production values and use of rock and popular music.  The show has also been acclaimed for its socially conscious stories dealing with issues including alcoholism, smoking, breast cancer awareness, sexual harassment, date rape, illiteracy, HIV drug testing, domestic violence, drug addiction, Internet predators and foster care.

The Young and the Restless was co-created by the late William J. Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell.  They also co-created the CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful, and Lee was a long-term story consultant on both serials.  Their daughter, Lauralee, starred as Christine Blair Williams on The Young and the Restless for many years, while son William J. Bell is President of Bell Dramatic Serial Company and Bell-Phillip TV Productions, Inc.  Bradley P. Bell, the Bell's second son, is executive producer and head writer of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Truly a legend in the television industry, William Bell enjoyed a 25-year tenure as head writer and senior executive producer of The Young and the Restless - the longest in the history of daytime drama.  He wrote more than 15,000 episodes of daytime drama that aired continuously and without interruption since 1956.  He created two of the eight serial dramas that currently constitute the daytime drama lineup and was a writer or head writer for three others.  In fact, Bell once worked as head writer on two daytime dramas simultaneously: from 1966-1977 on NBC's Days of our Lives and from 1973-1977 on The Young and the Restless.  Bell's writing trademarks have become the standards for the industry - fascinating and complex characters, intricate relationships, heartfelt romance and sensitive, timely treatments of both serious and controversial social issues and topics.

Bell received 10 Emmy Awards, four as a writer for The Young and the Restless, five as the show's producer and one Governor's Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS).  Bell received the Editor's Award twice from Soap Opera Digest and was one of the inaugural inductees into Soap Opera Weekly's Hall of Fame.  Bell and Lee Bell previously received the Nova Award from the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  In 2007, Lee Phillip Bell was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

More recently, Bell's two current daytime dramas have popularized the soap opera format to audiences in more than 100 countries, introducing a vast and appreciative new audience to the phenomenon of the American daytime drama. In fact, The Young and the Restless has a daily worldwide audience of more than 10 million viewers.  In the United States, the broadcast reaches a daily audience of 5.6 million viewers.  The show has been the Number One daytime drama, according to the Neilsen rankings, for the past 19 years.  It also continues as the Number One rated daytime drama with African-American viewers in the United States since 1991, with an average daily audience of 1.6 million viewers.

The Young and the Restless is a hit in international markets, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, the Middle East, New Zealand, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

The Young and the Restless has been the recipient of numerous awards for artistic merit, program excellence and social responsibility.  The show has won 100 Emmy Awards to date, including seven Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Daytime Drama.  Additional honors include The People's Choice Award for Favorite Daytime Drama and seven NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Daytime Drama, the first daytime drama ever to be honored by the organization.

In 1992, CBS dedicated Studio 43 at CBS Television City in Los Angeles to both William J. Bell and to The Young and the Restless. The dedication, in conjunction with the 5000th episode, marked the first time in the history of CBS that a studio has been dedicated to an individual and a series.

"TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO ENJOY 'THE VIEW'"..... FROM BACKSTAGE

Monday, May 19, 2008           ABC's talk and entertainment program, "The View," has been called one of the best reality shows on television. Now, for the first time, viewers and fans alike will witness first-hand all the backstage drama which unfolds each morning leading up to show time, things that, until now, have remained behind closed doors. On FRIDAY, MAY 30 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), "The View" will take its viewers on this exciting behind-the-scenes journey, from inception to execution, to outline how the Memorial Day show (airs 5/26/08) was produced. Ali and Dina Lohan ("Living Lohan") and Ryan Cabrera were the featured guests, with an additional segment devoted to Whoopi's weight loss.

"They say there are two things you should never see being made -- sausage and television. I've never seen sausage being made, but I assume it's more appetizing than this," said Bill Geddie, executive producer of "The View," jokingly.

The co-hosts' early morning arrivals to hair and makeup sessions, guest briefings to music rehearsals, pre-interviews with producers to selecting video clips, the "Hot Topics" meeting and control room craziness, the co-hosts' private green room, audience arrivals and warm-up, wardrobe selection to the green room, meetings, lighting, blocking, set decorating and tapping into the producers' headsets are just a few of the highlights. "Take a little time to enjoy 'The View'"... from backstage."

Additional behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive interviews and added bonus features and extras will be showcased exclusively on the show's official website at abc.com/theview.

LAST FOUR PLAYERS NAMED... COULD ONE OF THESE BE "THE MOLE"?

Friday, May 16, 2008           The remaining four of 12 players cast on "The Mole" have been confirmed - Liz (Whitefish, MT), Marcie (Corona, CA), Alex (Haverford, PA) and Craig (San Diego, CA). Dubbed television's smartest reality show, the new season of "The Mole" premieres MONDAY, JUNE 2 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. The series returns with all-new missions, locations and music, plus online and mobile interactivity, enabling more viewer participation over its 10 episodes. Jon Kelley ("Extra," "The National Sports Report") is host.

"The Mole," based on the hit Belgian format, is produced by Stone & Company Entertainment and follows a group of players as they try to figure out who among them is The Mole, a saboteur trying to keep them from winning money. Players must decide who they think The Mole is and then learn as much about him or her as they can, because, at the end of each one-hour episode, the player who knows the least about The Mole is immediately "Executed" from the game. In the final dramatic episode, The Mole is revealed and one of two final players wins a substantial cash prize.

The highly-rated ABC unscripted series aired in various time periods during its four-season run, and was a consistent draw with key young adult viewers opposite established network competition, including NBC's "Law & Order" and the inaugural season of Fox's "American Idol." "The Mole" ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 in its respective slots each season with Adults 18-34, and took second place in each of its time periods among Adults 18-49. Despite facing stiff demographic competition, "The Mole" improved each of its time periods among Adults 18-34.

Additional information about the show and players can be found at ABC.com. Below are mini-bios for the latest players announced:

LIZ         Age: 60
Occupation: Retired
Whitefish, MT
Education: Associate's Degree, New Mexico Tech.

Liz has more energy than people half her age, lives life to the fullest and doesn't let age stand in her way. Nor will she hesitate to shock people with her outlandish sense of humor. When Liz' husband passed away, she decided to adopt two children and raise them on her own. She has an 18-year-old daughter, a senior in high school, and a 20-year-old son in the army, who recently gave her a grandchild. Her son may be deployed to Iraq at any time. She suffers a bit from the empty nest, so she's eager to have this adventure to bring some excitement into her life. Liz feels that her age will be an asset in the game because with age comes wisdom, especially when dealing with younger people.

MARCIE     Age: 31
Occupation: Stay-at-home mom
Corona, CA
Education: High School graduate, West High, Torrance, CA

Marcie got pregnant in high school, married her high school sweetheart and is a devoted wife and mother of three sons. Married to a police officer, she devotes her entire life to raising her family, but sometimes feels she has missed out on the opportunity to do something just for herself. She believes stay-at-home moms have the most important jobs anyone can have; they're not people who can't do anything else, they just choose to raise their families rather than pursue a career. Playing this game will be Marcie's big adventure and an opportunity to prove she is more than "just a mom." She feels that others will underestimate her, and she'll use that to her advantage. Spanish is her first language and she speaks it fluently.

ALEX         Age: 31
Occupation: Musician
Haverford, PA
Education: Attended University of Colorado, Boulder

Alex grew up in the suburbs outside Philadelphia and has been drawn to music his whole life. In high school he was president of the jazz band, and now he's an aspiring musician, the lead guitarist for a fledgling rock band. He doesn't want to compromise his musical aspirations, so he works odd jobs and lives at home with his parents while waiting for his big break. He says he communicates best through his music. He plans on bringing his guitar to help entertain his fellow players with a song he wrote especially for "The Mole." His strategy is to be the "nice guy," but he says he can play dirty if he needs to. He learned to speak Spanish from his mother and lived in Costa Rica for five years. He considers himself an expert marksman.

CRAIG     Age: 30
Occupation: Graphic designer
San Diego, CA
Education: B.A., Point Loma Nazarene University

Craig has been overweight his entire life so he developed a sense of humor in order to make friends. He's a lovable prankster with a big heart, and his magnetic personality has gotten him through life. Craig plans on using his endearing nature and non-threatening appearance to win the players' trust and then manipulate them. He knows his physical limitations, but says this can be an asset in the game because everyone will underestimate him. He hopes to surprise people with his abilities. Craig has sleep apnea, so he has to sleep with a special machine to help him breathe. Craig has traveled extensively and worked as a humanitarian disaster relief aide worker in Turkey and Thailand.

Thee complete list of all 12 players -- Kristen (Santa Monica, CA), Victoria (Bishop, TX), Clay (Philadelphia, PA), Paul (Yonkers, NY), Nicole (Chicago, IL), Ali (St. Louis, MO), Bobby (Philadelphia, PA), Mark (Mukwonago, WI), Liz (Whitefish, MT), Marcie (Corona, CA), Alex (Haverford, PA) and Craig (San Diego, CA).

"I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW" HAS BEGUN SHOOTING FOR A HYSTERICAL PREMIERE, JUNE 24 ON ABC

Thursday, May 15, 2008           "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" has begun shooting in Japan and will premiere TUESDAY, JUNE 24 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. This unscripted reality/game show takes an eye-opening, behind-the-scenes look at 10 Americans - many of whom have never traveled outside the United States -- who are whisked away to Japan and compete in the ultimate Japanese game show... with hilarious results. The final winner will take home $250,000.

Guiding the American players through their stay in Japan will be host/interpreter Tony Sano ("Touch Wood," "Beating Vegas"), an American actor fluent in Japanese; a house mother and resident pot-stirrer, Mamasan; and the witty game show host Rome Kanda ("Pink Panther," "Saturday Night Live"), who leads the contestants through all of the zany challenges.

Some of the games/challenges will include:

WHY IS THIS FOOD SO HARD TO EAT? -- Why? Because the food is attached to the head of a teammate who must run in place on a fast-moving treadmill, while the first teammate leans over a platform and tries to eat from the moving dish.

CRAZY CRANE FINDS FLUFFY BEAR -- This takes the American arcade game to the next level, as blindfolded teammates must operate a moving crane while another teammate precariously dangles trying to collect as many stuffed animals as he/she can.

CHICKEN BUTT SCRAMBLE -- The contestants create their own version of Japanese scrambled eggs as they attempt to smash goo-filled oversized eggs with only their butts... while wearing chicken suits.

FOX FINDS PERFECT FIT WITH “HOLE IN THE WALL”

FOX breaks the mold and orders 13 hours of HOLE IN THE WALL, the body-bending, mind-twisting, global game show phenomenon from AMERICAN IDOL producers FremantleMedia North America.

Speed, agility and a hearty sense of humor are essential tools to survive HOLE IN THE WALL, one of the trickiest, fastest, funniest and wettest shows on the planet. As players struggle to strike a pose, points – and dignity – can be easily lost with a simple miscalculation.
