(November 1st - Editor)          Former Saturday Night Live cast member Molly Shannon has signed on to appear in three episodes of the ABC Dramatic Comedy series Pushing Daisies. The actress and comedienne reported to the set of the series on October 29th, where she will play Dilly Balsam, a competitor of Ned (Lee Pace), who opens a rival sweets shop across the street from The Pie Hole. Shannon will be on the set of the series for the next three weeks. The three episode appearance has not yet been given an air date.

          The FOX animated comedy series Family Guy celebrates 100 episodes with a one hour special airing on Sunday, November 4th that will first offer viewers a 99th episode retrospective of the outrageous antics of The Griffin family, followed by a 100th episode titled "Stewie Kills Lois" where Lois and Peter go on a cruise, leaving Stewie and the family behind. When Stewie gets upset with Lois for leaving him at home, he vows to carry out a diabolical plan. When Brian challenges him to actually do it, Stewie stows away on the ship, finds Lois and…well, the title of the episode says it all.

          NBC officially rings in the holiday season with the 81st annual live broadcast of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from New York City. Today co-anchor Meredith Vieira co-hosts for the second time along with parade veterans Matt Lauer and Al Roker kicking off the festivities with the Parade's historic march beginning at 77th Street and Central Park West and winding down Broadway. The Parade will feature many iconic floats and balloons and will offer up many new additions, including the newest balloon giants Sesame Street's Abby Cadabby, Hello Kitty, Supercute and Shrek. Also debuting this year is a helium balloon sculpture of the "Rabbit" created by renowned artist Jeff Koons. The year's parade celebration will air on NBC at 9:00 AM- Noon in all time zones.

          NBC continues its Thanksgiving Day celebration with The National Dog Show on Thursday, November 22 (Noon - 2 p.m. in all time zones). Over 2,000 aspiring purebreds vie for the coveted Best in Show title on NBC's sixth broadcast of one of America's most prestigious dog shows. Some 150 breeds and varieties of dogs, from Afghan Hounds to Colored Bull Terriers and Doberman Pinschers to the newly-sanctioned Tibetan Mastiff, will highlight the show hosted by purebred dog owner John O'Hurley (Seinfeld, Dancing with the Stars) and David Frei, the "Dean" of dog show commentators.

          Actress Brooke Smith (Weeds, Crossing Jordan) has agreed to join the cast of the ABC Medical Drama Grey's Anatomy to play the no-nonsense, well respected, Dr. Erica Hahn, who will join the staff at Seattle Grace Hospital as their new cardiothoracic surgeon.

          FOX has ordered an additional 11 episodes of the new comedy Back To You, bringing the total number of episodes for its premiere season to 24. The half hour situation comedy stars Kelsey Grammer as Chuck Darling and Patricia Heaton as Kelly Carr, co-anchors at Pittsburg, PA, news station WURG, who are reunited at the anchor desk after Chuck had an embarrassing and very public fall from grace on-air at his previous post in Los Angeles. The comedy also stars Fred Willard, Ty Burrell, Josh Gad, Ayda Field and Laura Marano.

          ABC has announced the return of the one hour drama series October Road on Thursday, November 22nd. The series stars Bryan Greenberg as Nick Garrett, an acclaimed novelist who returns home after being away for ten years to take up an offer to teach at Dufresne College in his native Knights Ridge, Massachusetts. But once back, Nick finds the response to his homecoming less than effusive. He's had no contact with family or friends since leaving, and some resent how they were portrayed as characters in his novel. In the season premiere episode, "Let's Get Owen," Nick and Eddie head to New York in an attempt to bring Owen back to his estranged wife and family in Knightsridge, and Hannah comes to terms with her true feelings for Nick.

          ABC has announced the return of the quirky comedy Notes From The Underbelly, to air Mondays at 9:30 ET, starting November 26th. The half hour situation comedy features a group of friends in their early 30s and comically proves that pregnancy doesn't just change your life, but the lives of all your friends.
